In the Monday night clashes on the Northern Indo-China border, twenty Indian soldiers have martyred while more than forty soldiers of the Chinese army were killed. The Indian Army has accepted martyrdom with an official statement, but the Chinese side has not yet released any data. Not releasing the figures from China has strengthened the fact that the Chinese army has suffered a great loss.

On one side, where the Chinese Army and the Foreign Ministry have kept silence, on the other hand, the media is describing the situation with their words. Hu Shijin, editor-in-chief of Global Times, the mouthpiece of the Chinese government, said in a tweet that “Chinese side didn’t release number of PLA casualties in clash with Indian soldiers. My understanding is the Chinese side doesn’t want people of the two countries to compare the casualties number so to avoid stoking public mood. This is goodwill from Beijing.”


It is clear with tweet that China does not want to expose its great losses to public.

After India China face off, the atmosphere has changed globally. America said that we are monitoring the situation. It is important to resolve the dispute of both countries. The United Nations has also appealed for peace and restraint.

After a round of long meetings in Delhi till late in the night, Emergency power has been given to the army. The Indian army can take steps at its level and will no longer have to wait for Delhi's order. India is constantly preparing to deal with any situation. Ladakh, Himachal, Uttarakhand as well as Sikkim, Arunachal border are on high alert and additional army has been deployed. Last night, there was movement of Fighter jets in Himachal Pradesh. According to sources, the India is doing preparation at military level as well as diplomatic level. Looking at the current circumstances, it can be said that situation could be worst.
